Terms and Conditions for CapsRide - Cab, Bike-Taxi, and Auto Booking App
Welcome to CapsRide, your go-to platform for booking cabs, bike-taxis, and auto rides. By accessing or using the CapsRide app or website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

By using the CapsRide app, website, or any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other terms or policies posted on our platform. These terms apply to all users, including both drivers and passengers.
CapsRide provides a platform that allows passengers to book transportation services such as cabs, bike-taxis, and autos through the app. We do not own or operate the vehicles used for these services; rather, we act as an intermediary connecting users with independent drivers or vehicle operators who provide the transportation services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the CapsRide app and services. By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you are of legal age to enter into a binding contract. If you are under 18, you may not use our services.
To use CapsRide, you need to create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information, including your name, phone number, email address, and payment details. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised or if unauthorized access occurs.
Ride Bookings: To book a ride, you must provide accurate trip details (pickup location, drop-off location, ride type, etc.) through the app. CapsRide will connect you with a nearby driver, and a ride will be confirmed once a driver accepts the booking.
Pricing: The fare for your ride will be calculated based on factors like distance, time, and type of ride. You will be shown the estimated fare before confirming your booking. Prices may vary due to demand, availability, or other factors.
Payment: Payment for services is processed through the app using the payment methods you provide (e.g., credit/debit cards, wallets). By confirming a ride, you authorize us to charge the specified amount for the trip. In the case of a failed payment, the ride will not be confirmed.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel a ride, but cancellation fees may apply if the cancellation is made after a driver has been assigned or en route. CapsRide reserves the right to charge cancellation fees, which will be clearly displayed in the app before confirming your booking.
You agree to use CapsRide solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are prohibited from using the app for illegal activities, including but not limited to:
Drivers using the CapsRide platform are independent contractors, not employees of CapsRide. CapsRide does not guarantee the behavior or quality of service provided by drivers. However, we require that all drivers meet the following criteria:

CapsRide reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you engage in disruptive, unsafe, or illegal behavior.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CapsRide shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business arising out of or related to your use of the app or services, even if CapsRide has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our liability for any claim arising out of or related to the services provided will be limited to the amount you paid for the specific service involved in the dispute.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CapsRide, its affiliates, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app and services, violation of these Terms and Conditions, or violation of any third-party rights.
CapsRide reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the app or website with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
CapsRide may suspend or terminate your access to the app or services at any time, with or without cause, including if you violate any terms of this agreement. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease, and any obligations you owe to CapsRide or other users will remain in effect.
